FROM MY HEART
I have found the golden Key
Hidden deep inside of me.
Placed it gently in my heart;
Tore the curtains wide apart.
Then my eyes could clearly see
Truth is being really me.
Found I'm not so all alone;
All these creatures here and gone:
Beings all, my heart has shown.
Jumpy nerves now they cease-
Brought to still by inner peace.
Heard a voice -- it was my soul.
Tells me now that I am whole.
No more hoping, searching about,
I'm right here -- no more doubt.
Shared some secrets, how I cried;
Felt my heart was opened wide.
Many tears with me you spilled,
Cups of memories overfilled.
Love has wiped away my fears;
Feel me now on brink of tears.
Greater wealth I've come to know
In the friends who I love so!
